About Theo and Expos'd

A queer, neurodivergent artist reclaiming truth through uncensored creation

How did I get here?

I’ve lived a life shaped by intensity, joy, trauma, survival, reinvention. Years of masking my neurodivergence, shrinking my queerness, and navigating systems that demanded palatability left my nervous system in a state of collapse. Chronic burnout became my daily reality, and with it came a profound unravelling of identity.

After four decades of hiding, performing, and contorting myself to fit, I’m slowly peeling back the layers to rediscover who I’ve always been beneath the camouflage. This platform is part of that process: a living archive of healing, reclamation, and creative rebirth.

Art as medicine, expression as survival

Photography has been a constant thread throughout my life, as both a professional event photographer, and as a queer disabled artist rebuilding my creative function from the ground up. In 2023, I began a BA in Photography to reawaken my creative imagination and reconnect with the part of me that creates instinctively. It hasn’t been easy. Burnout has fought me at every turn. But my determination remains fierce.

My work spans photography, sculpture, mixed media, and whatever medium allows me to translate the internal landscapes of neurodivergence into something tangible. Art is how I process, how I communicate, how I stay alive in a world that often misunderstands people like me.

Why EXPOS’D exists

This is the space I’ve always wanted but never had: a queer-owned, uncensored creative sanctuary where bodies, identities, and stories can exist without shame. Social platforms have repeatedly punished queer artists, shadow-banning, censoring, and policing our existence. That hostility has real psychological and physiological consequences.

So, I built a space where none of that applies.

No moral policing.

No algorithmic erasure.

No sanitising queer truth to make it “safe.”

This is a home for explicit honesty, for raw emotion, for the kind of art that refuses to apologise for existing. It’s a place where I can express myself freely, and hopefully where you can too, if you choose to step into this world with kindness and respect.

This platform is also a space for connection. A reminder that we are all made of atoms, shaped by story, and strengthened by community. The queer world is under pressure, and yet we continue to create, to resist, to shine. Protect the dolls! Protect each other. If that brought someone to mind - check in with them today.
